Happy new years everyone! An early screenshot for New Years. From everyone at Dark Rising and myself, DRG, we wish you an amazing New Years!
Hello everyone, and welcome to another Screenshot Saturdays, number. For today's post, seems like someone's found something shiny. "...My precious".
As always, stay tune! -DRG How's everyone doing this Saturday?
So you saw the introduction of the new battle menu, now for today's screenshot: Zyro faces off against...his fellow cadets? Until another Saturday, folks! -DRG What is this you say? Myself, DRG, and my team, want to give you a special little treat. We know that many of you are worried about 'what's happening to the progression of DR3?' and 'will it take nine years to make it?' Sadly, I cannot tell the future and tell you what to expect of the games release/production. However, to ensure that 'Dark Rising' is not dead, my team and I have decided to present to you: Sneak Peek Saturdays. Twice a month on Alternate Saturdays a screenshot will be posted on the site. It'll be random and it could be about anything, but it is to ensure the DR community that we are still here and we aren't going anywhere. That, even though, it takes time we are still working on it. We hope this gives some faith in people--Until then, please have a wonderful day and stay safe.
---DRG A recent discovery has led me to Pokemon Master Black page where they have managed to put a DR3 tutorial to load/play on [Android] phones. We knew that someone would find a way eventually! You can find the YouTube over in 'Dark Rising 3's' homepage (be sure to subscribe to his page to be on the update).
So, scrolling through the internet my team managed to find an interesting gem on the subreddit of Pokemon Fangames: Of course, there are still some kinks as this is something in works (It works a little slow with DR3, but it may differ depending on the users phone). The team that is working on is as a patreon (So if you want to support them in some kind of way, there's a patreon link there too). I'll link the article here. There is also a link on the subreddit page to where/how to download it. It has been quiet here lately and, for that, I apologize. First and foremost, I hope that everyone is safe and well during the pandemic (and my heart gives out to those who have lost their lives). The quietness of DarkRising I am aware have been static. It was nothing intentional to stop working, but things (i.e. family, school, work) have been everyone's top priority and the game has been worked on quietly in the background. Especially now with the rise of the Coronavirus going around. That being said, I do want to let everyone know the game will not be in vain. However, it may not come out in 2022 as planned (I know, I know, I'm sorry). My team and I will still try our best to push forward, but I wanted to let you all know the game will still be coming out eventually, just not as scheduled plan. Again, I am sorry I hope you all don't hate me.
Will also be sure to keep tabs on the website, which is running again, with little things every now and then. Thank you for all your patience and please stay safe. Regards, DRG So we shall see how far this new idea goes. The Dark Rising 3 blog was had come up with in order for (every so often) I would give you guys a sort of "progress report" or a way to alert you all about updates/bug fixes and such with the game. Like everything, it's still a work in progress and if this idea sticks you'll see more blog posts to date. That being said about the current "bug" with the game (most have reported after you get froakie and after you talk to Bison in Lazarus Swamp, the game blacks out) The issue will be fixed momentarily and I will let everyone know when to redownload the game. If you are not having this black out issue and your game is doing other bug issues please erase your save data.
That being said, I will speak to you all at a later date. |
